JD Simo (Jack White, Beyonce, Chris Isaak, etc.) and Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi All-Stars, Black Crowes, etc.), who have individually built their own legacies as soloists, sidemen, songwriters and guitar heroes, spark off their talents. Sparks! JD Simo was born in Arizona in 1985 and released his EP "Burnin' Live! In 2010, he formed his own band, SIMO, which released "Let Love Show the Way" in 2016. As a solo artist, he released OFF AT 11 in 2019 and JD Simo in 2020. In recent years, he has also worked with Jack White, Beyonce, Phil Lesh, Chris Isaak, and the soundtrack to the Elvis biopic.Luther Dickinson was born in Memphis in 1973. His father, Jim Dickinson, was a famous swamp producer and player, and his brothers formed the North Mississippi All-Stars in 1996. They have released numerous classic albums and have been nominated for many music awards including a Grammy. As a solo artist, he has been a member of the Black Crowes since 2007 and has collaborated with many other artists as a player and producer. He is now contributing to swamp music at a rate that exceeds his father's fame.
