It has been 30 years since The Jam's "All Mod Cons. In a somewhat aggressive way, this year can be called the 30th anniversary of the Mod Revival. What was going on in the British underground scene at that time? This CD contains part of the answer: "the sound of young people trying to recapture what was British in the few short years after the Sex Pistols and the Clash broke up the scene and just before the dawn of the New Wave era. The sound of young people trying to regain their Britishness. The contents include a phantom single by The Nips, produced by Paul Weller during the period of The Jam's rapid rise to national band status and featuring Shayne, who later led The Pogues, as well as rare recordings that at one time sold for tens of thousands of yen even among collectors, including The Letters, The Cigarettes The Circles, one of the most popular bands of the Mod Revival, and many others, which are not to be missed by mod freaks as well as 70's punk, power pop, and pub rock lovers. I would also like to add that this is an opportunity for UK indie rock fans who started listening to British rock music with The Libertines and The Vue to take a listen to this album!
