Singer/acoustic guitar duo formed in Barnsley, northern England, in 1965 by Danny Clark and Lenny Wesley. For a while after their debut, they performed as Foggy Due O. After two albums on Decca in the late 60's, they changed their name to Foggy and released their third album, "Simple Gifts" in 1972, produced by Tony Hooper, formerly of the Strawbs.After a brief breakup, Clark reorganized Foggy in 1976 with Rob Jones as his new partner. This is the fourth album, whose serene and simple sound is quintessential British folk. Included are "The Bells of Limney" (by Pete Seeger) from the Byrds' debut album and "The Morning Rise Heavy" by Alan Taylor.
