A little-known gem of 70's American rare psychedelia. The only album by Joseph Pusey (died April 2004) from Southern California (Palos Verdes) is now available on CD (original release: 1977)! Influenced by various genres of British and American world music, and having collaborated with LA rock bands such as Kaleidoscope and Love in the early 70's, he has created an album with roots in traditional folk/bluegrass and blues, with ethnic touches. In the early 1990s, after collaborating with LA rock bands such as Kaleidoscope and Love, he established an alternative style with roots in traditional folk/bluegrass and blues, with plenty of ethnic touches. In this album, he also includes influences of old British trad music such as Ashley Hutchings and John Renbourn Group.Pusey (vocals, 6 & 12 string guitar, classical guitar, slide guitar, banjo, flute, soprano & alto recorders, tin whistle, celtic drums, etc.), as well as Joel Plimer (glockenspiel, psaltery), Joy Sassoon ( piano, tambourine, vocals) are credited.
