Japan's first full-fledged natural horn ensemble, formed in 2016 by leading professional performers of the modern horn. The ensemble will perform works by Richter and Bellori, which are little known today; Reicher's Trio, a classic of horn ensembles; the contemporary work Kroll's "Bässler-Romanze"; and Rossini's "The Hunting Gathering," performed only with natural overtones. This is a piece that will make you rediscover the possibilities of the natural horn, an instrument with a power of expression that differs from that of the modern horn. ＜Natural Horn Ensemble Tokyo＞"Natural Horn Ensemble Tokyo" was formed in 2016 to promote the natural horn and its performance. It is the first professional natural horn ensemble in Japan. The abbreviated name is "Natuho Tokyo". The members are Yuta Ohno (Tokyo Symphony Orchestra), Keishi Omori (Chiba Symphony Orchestra), Taro Shimoda (THE ORCHESTRA JAPAN), Satoshi Tsukada (Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra), Ryosuke Banno (Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra), Marie Fujita (New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra). The six musicians are all fascinated by the natural horn and are also active on the modern horn.Since 2017, three concerts have been held with the goal of having one concert a year. In addition to concerts, he also gives lectures to promote natural horn performance and holds exchange events to experience natural horn ensembles. He was also invited as a guest to the "Horn Festival in Akita 2017" organized by the Japan Horn Association. The group has performed with world-renowned natural horn players Javier Bonet and Olivier d'Alberey.
