Although the vibraphone has a widespread image as an instrument used in jazz, its repertoire in contemporary music is still smaller and less well-known than that for the marimba. In order to break through this image, Shinichi Ueno has recorded a collection of works for vibraphone solo or percussion solo with the vibraphone at the center. The collection includes commissioned works and world premiere recordings by Shinichi Ueno.
