Description:

This is the first album by Mineko Kojima, who is actively involved in the research and performance of Spanish organ music, where she listens to the ancient melodies of the stars and the moon. The recording was made by Masao Mineo, who is well known for his recordings of ancient music and has recorded such musicians as Kimiko Iye and Kazuo Hanaoka. The album also features the thoughtful gaze of Correa de Araujo's "Tiento" for divided stops, written in a style unique to Spain; the quiet voice of the title piece "Starry Moonlit Night" from Yui Kakinuma's "Six Preludes"; the inner tranquility of "Matsukaze"; and the French "Titulose", which retains traces of Renaissance vocal music. The "Star of the Sea" by Titoulouse is a brave song. The Aubertin organ of the Karuizawa Cornet will depict the intersecting time and space. <After studying at Tamagawa University, she received a master's degree in music from Musashino Academia Musicae. Completed the Diploma Course at Ferris University. While in graduate school, she received the Naoaki Fukui Award. She participated in master classes throughout Europe and the U.S. She completed an organist internship at Yokohama Minatomirai Hall in 2003. She has performed in Japan, Germany, France, Spain, and the U.S. with soloists, ensembles, orchestras, and wind ensembles. In recent years, he has devoted himself especially to the study and performance of Spanish organ music works and historical instruments, and has also been actively involved in Japanese works. He has studied organ under Tetsuro Tominaga, Shigeru Ito, Tagashi Sakai, Teruhisa Fujieda, Makiko Hayashima, Hatsumi Miura, Genzo Takehisa, and A. Cea Galán, and harmony under Yui Kakinuma. Currently a part-time lecturer at Musashino University. Organist at Meifukuji Lumbini Academy. Formerly deputy organist at Chikuchi Honganji Temple (2006-2015)." Organizer of "La academia del organo espanol". (Member of the Japan Organist Association and the Japan Organ Study Group. Regulus
