The British power metal band ASCENSION, whose debut album was a hit among power metal fans, is back after 10 years of silence. ASCENSION was formed in 2004 in Aberdeen, Scotland, by Stewart Docherty (G) and his band. After independently releasing the EPs "Moongate" (2009) and "Alchemy" (2010), ASCENSION officially made their worldwide debut in 2012 with the album "Far Beyond The Stars". The album, which was released in the style of DRAGONFORCE, a band from the same country, received great acclaim from power metal fans around the world, including Japan, and the band got off to a spectacular start as a promising new star. The band has been playing shows on tour since then, while also intermittently writing and recording for their next album, which fans have been eagerly awaiting.After 10 long years, the band has finally completed its second album, which will be available to fans in early 2023. The band has already released "Sayonara" and "Megalomaniac" and their music videos as the first two singles from the new album. These two songs are the first and second tracks of the new album, and the opening intro of both songs will give you an idea of the potential of this album. This is an album for power metal fans, made possible by the fact that these guys are power metal fans.
