Babolak's new album features concertos by Mozart and Haydn as a horn player, as well as symphonic works performed by the Czech Sinfonietta, an orchestra he founded as a conductor. Mozart's horn concertos have never been released on CD, despite their popularity and ability. This is the performance that fans have been waiting for. The cadenza is Babolak's original. The free conception and astonishing technique of the composer are impressive. The two symphonies as well as the concerto are performed by orchestra members who were formed for this project and are active chamber musicians in the Czech Republic. The sound is thick throughout, and the music is so beautifully composed and performed that the origins and endings of the pieces are visible. It is truly warm-blooded music, and evokes the good old Czech tradition. Babolak's music, which pursues natural singing and flow, comfortably releases the pure sounds of Mozart and Haydn.
