Pianist and musician Sarara Wakui has supported many artists such as Ado, yama, and TK from Rin to Shigure, and is active in many other fields. She composes, arranges, and provides live support for numerous artists. She has been active in a variety of fields while consistently releasing her own works, and has garnered attention for the overwhelming quality of her music and her performance skills. Her third album "The Little Cycle," the culmination of her solo project, is finally ready for release.
Armed with an ironclad ensemble cultivated through recording and touring, the album features a piano trio, guitars, and singers for a total of 12 tracks. The band consists of guitarist Ishii Tomoki, bassist Yoshiteru Takahashi, and drummer Shunsuke Uehara. Singer mimiko and singer Rin Inaizumi join the ensemble to bring to life the passion and sense of unity fostered in live performances.The songs on the album are diverse and showcase Wakui's wide range of musical talent, including the up-tempo dance tune "Patterns," the progressive number "Little Cycle," which is also the title track, and "QREA," which showcases her duo with Shunsuke Uehara. Violinist Anne Suhara joins in on "Terracotta," the last song on the album. The beautiful melody and rich strings leave a deep aftertaste.
