Ortance, a human-powered techno-mixture unit consisting of Masayasu Tsuboguchi, Shudai Nishida, and Kazuya Oi, is pleased to announce the long-awaited LP release of their second album, released in 2023! Masayasu Tsuboguchi (Tokyo Zawinulbach, ex.DC/PRG), Shudai Nishida (Kimijima Ozora Ensemble, Shun Ishiwaka SongBook), and Kazuya Oi (yahyel, DATS), three people from different fields, have joined forces with a common aesthetic sense. Compared to the first album, the second album, "SCENERY", released in 2023, is more beat oriented and has more emotional tracks. Kazuya Oi's beats have a more drum'n'bass, four beat techno approach, and Shudai Nishida's guitar has a punk/new wave nuance in addition to his own blending sense. All of this is encompassed by the filter-controlled synths, synth bass, and fluid piano playing of Masayasu Tsuboguchi, who also composes all of the music (only M7 is co-written with Oi).A-02 "Warm, Snow Light," featuring guest vocalist ermhoi, who helps to highlight the musicality of Ortance, is Tsuboguchi's first Japanese-language composition that expresses his feelings for his loved ones in his daily life. The song is a collection of scenes from around the world that Tsuboguchi has witnessed with various thoughts and feelings, such as the unchanged landscape in the midst of the difficult global situation after the Corona disaster, the coexistence of nature and artifacts, the beautiful but destroyed cityscape and people leading their lives, and things that must not be lost, all gathered into a sound that evokes a painting and a story.
