Caleb Landry Jones, best known for his work as an actor in television shows and films, completes his fourth album. Caleb Landry Jones is best known for his work in prominent television shows and films such as Get Out, Twin Peaks: The Return, and X-Men: First Class. First Class. But his talents as a musician continue to flourish away from the screen, and in April 2024 Jones will release his fourth album, Hey Gary, Hey Dawn, on his longtime home base, Sacred Bones. Known as a multi-instrumentalist, Jones has created complex, cinematic works that straddle the boundaries of progressive music, but his latest album breaks new ground by focusing on live performance.Indeed, Jones intentionally designed "Hey Gary, Hey Dawn" with a live stage in mind, something that has been lacking in his musical career to date. The sound is his heaviest to date, weaving a tapestry of sounds that hint at punk and grunge elements within his signature kaleidoscopic symphony. More than 20 talented musicians, including a quartet, also contribute to the album. They add depth and complexity to this dynamic collection of tracks that seamlessly traverse multiple genres.
