Josh Tillman, aka Father John Misty, is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and drummer from Maryland, U.S.A. He moved to Seattle at the age of 21 and started his music career. After releasing several CDRs, he released the album "Minor Works" under the name J. Tillman on Fargo Records. In May 2012, he released his debut album "Fear Fun" on Sub Pop Records under the name Father John Misty. In May 2012, he released "Fear Fun," his debut album as Father John Misty on Sub Pop. The album was met with great critical acclaim, and his second album, "I Love You, Honeybear," released in 2015, was his international breakthrough.He is also often credited as a songwriter on other artists' works, including Lady Gaga's "Sinner's Prayer" and "Come to Mama" (on the album "Joanne"), Beyonce's "Hold Up" (on the album "Lemonade"), and has been featured on songs by Kid Cudi and The Avalanches. He also released his third album "Pure Comedy" in April 2017, and it was announced that he will perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '17 in July.
