Fascinating Japanese-style Latin jazz performed and produced by multi-percussionist Ayumi Suzuki. The first album is finally completed! The album features a lot of percussion instruments! Vibraphone, marimba, and glockenspiels add sparkling accents to the front. The timbales are indispensable for Latin music, and all of them are played by Ayumi Suzuki. She also composed and arranged the music, resulting in the birth of an unlikely Latin jazz with a rich Japanese atmosphere. Salsa, timba, calypso, danson, Afro-Cuban, rumba, and various other rhythms are vividly performed by the very talented musicians who support the Latin scene in Japan, including Hiromichi Tsugaki on piano and Kazutoshi Shibuya on bass, and guest musicians from Cuba add color to the grooves. The mixing and mastering was done by the Japanese and Cuban musicians. The album was mixed and mastered by Los Angeles-based drummer and engineer Jimmy Brumley, and features a total of nine tracks that give the album a real sense of authenticity and power.
