Established in October 1995, Respect Records is celebrating its 30th anniversary. We have been looking at music from all over the world, without being bound to one region or genre. Building on our earlier 20th anniversary release, we have selected songs from albums released since 2015 for this release. The album comes with a detailed commentary by Noriko Hattori. Includes a message from British journalist Paul Fisher. Bilingual translation is provided for the vocal tracks. All songs were remastered in September 2025. In times of rampant division and conflict, Respect the World ! The title of the album is a reflection of this sentiment. Points of the album <1>This is a commemorative album for the 30th anniversary of Respect Records. <2>A selection of songs from a variety of genres, including jazz, folk, chanson, musette, Hawaiian, and traditional music. <3>A booklet with detailed explanations is included. <4>We hope you will enjoy the history of this one-of-a-kind label. <5>The last song on the album is a new song written by Hashiken.
