Naoto Oyama Trio" is the original trio project of bassist Naoto Oyama. After 9 years of collaborating with various artists, the first album of "Naoto Oyama Trio" will finally be released. This time, the project has welcomed pianist R1SA and drummer Ryosuke Fujita as supporting musicians, and trumpeter Stacey Wei, saxophonist Rayleigh, and vibraphonist Sakura as featured artists, and the first album was completed in a very gorgeous way. The first album is now available. Naoto Oyama Trio This is a trio project of bassist Naoto Oyama. Except for the bassist, all members are supporting members, and various talented musicians participate in the project. This jazz trio expresses a wide range of dynamics from delicate sounds to energetic performances. Naoto Oyama After graduating from Osaka University of Arts, Naoto Oyama went to Los Angeles to study music and gained a lot of experience in the U.S. He is a bassist active in Japan and abroad.He leads the trio's music with deep, rich bass lines, and his playing is emotionally expressive and technical. Well versed in composing and arranging, the Naoto Oyama Trio has created many original compositions, and their diverse musical style is based on jazz, but also incorporates elements of Latin, hip-hop, classical, and many other genres. The group is characterized by their virtuosity in improvisation and sophisticated arrangements. He has performed at jazz festivals and clubs in Japan and abroad. Particular emphasis is placed on live improvisation and interaction with the audience, resulting in a different stage each time. (From the manufacturer's information)
