Named after Khalil Gibran's classic book "The Prophet," "The Prophet and The Madman" features a transcendent and soothing sound influenced by Moroccan gnawa, gospel, and spiritual jazz. It is a personal and poetic meditation on duality, healing, and ancestral memory. The richly textured 11-song album features a wide range of artists, including Ryan Porter, Miles Mosley, Brandon Coleman, Tony Austin, Taylor Graves, Cameron Graves, Ronald Bruner, Jr, Aracoy Pete, Khalil Cummings, and Kamasi Washington, among other notable collaborators.
