The enigmatic and grandiose title of the album, "Praise the Lord Who Gnaws but Does Not Eat," is also Yves Toumor's most personal statement to date, taking the listener on a diverse spiritual journey, weaving together opposing elements of darkness and light, pop and innovation, dissonance and sublime silence. The album, which takes as its starting point the single "God is a Circle" released in November 2022, is full of addictive melodies and innovative arrangements that, once heard, do not leave the listener's ears, and the preceding single "Echolalia" is a perfect example of this. The result is a one-of-a-kind sound that amplifies Eve Tumor's signature sound and embodies her vision of diluting reality by giving meaning to the abstract and harmonizing dissonance.
