MUTO SYOHEI

Description:

*From the following information Shohei Muto's first solo album in 14 years, "The Man Who Lost His Name Shohei Muto's documentary narrative album, with a jacket he also designed himself, is filled with his way of life. Shohei Muto's first solo album in 14 years, "The Man Who Lost His Name". After the release of "Nirvana Sun" (released on January 27, 2021 /UKKS-0001) in 2021, which was released by "Jikketsu Shiregare" led by Muto in the midst of the Corona disaster, Muto said that the idea for new songs was not inspired by his feelings about the Corona disaster. At that time, Takayuki Suzui, known as "Mr." in the "Wednesday Show" series, asked Muto to write the accompaniment and theme song for the play "D-river" (to be performed in 2022) by the theater company OOPARTS, which he organizes, and he started working on it. In the last scene of the stage, the stage was decorated with a moving ending together with "Wind Driver," which is included in the M-10 of this work. The concept of this work is "an album reminiscent of Shohei Muto's guitar playing. Overdubbing a minimal amount of sound to it, the lyrics and music reflect Muto's thoughts, the scenery he sees, and his view of the world. For the jacket, Muto drew an unfinished painting before entering university, and after entering the year 2023, he continued to draw it as he felt inspired, and after more than 30 years, "a joint work with his past and future selves" was completed. The title of the painting is "The Future in the Past 1987-2023~THE FUTURE IN THE PAST 1987-2023~. Shohei Muto's documentary narrative album" is now complete, with the cover, lyrics, and songs fully reflecting Muto's way of life and way of thinking.
