Menahem Pressler, the founder of the Beaux Arts Trio for more than half a century and a veteran soloist since the dissolution of the Beaux Arts Trio, continues to perform as a soloist. This live Mozart recording was made in 2016 in Pressler's native Magdeburg, Germany. It has been out of stock for a long time, but has now been reissued. For Pressler, Mozart's piano concertos are a repertoire that has occupied much of his long life as a musician. The master, who was already over 90 years old at the time of recording, assembled Mozart, which was truly "his own," with unparalleled nuance and carefully selected tempi, in a natural and elegant manner.
