Renowned German pianist Lars Forkert and his daughter Isabelle! A collection of "melodramas" for recitation and piano by Schumann and Richard Strauss! Born in Germany in 1970, Lars Folkert is a renowned German pianist who won the second prize at the 1990 Leeds International Piano Competition and is an organizer of the Spanungen Music Festival. Lars Forkt, together with his daughter Isabelle Forkt, who works professionally in the world of theater and narration, released a recording of a live performance (Spanungen Festival 2018 & 2020) of a collection of melodramas (readings with piano accompaniment) by Schumann and R. Strauss. 2020. The Spanungen Music Festival in 2020 is being held as a no-attendance "ghost festival" due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Isabelle Folkert was born in Berlin in 2002, has been involved in theater and reading since the age of four, and has attended the Goldney Theater School in Berlin since 2013, where she currently teaches. She has participated in numerous theater productions in Germany and appeared in a TV series produced by Sky and Amazon Prime.He has also appeared as a narrator in radio programs on Deutschland Radio. Because of his musical background, including his father's influence, he has a special interest in melodrama programs with readings and music, and expressively reads these melodramas, which often have a serious atmosphere, accompanied by the emotional piano by Lars Forkt.
