Alexander Koryakin was born in 1988 in Yakutsk, the capital of the Sakha Republic, Russia. From his hometown, he went on to the Gnesin Music School in Moscow, and is a pianist who has won many competitions, including the Vladimir Horowitz Competition in Ukraine.
