Stravinsky by Kolya Bracher & members of the Berlin Philharmonic! Kolya Blacher, a violinist who served as the first concert master of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Abbado for six years, and Gábor Tarkevi (trumpet) and Christophard Gessling (trombone), who were principal players of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Abbado, and other elite musicians of the world's highest caliber, will perform Stravinsky's stage work "A Soldier's Tale" in a seven-piece ensemble plus narrator. The seven-piece ensemble plus narrator will perform Stravinsky's stage work, "A Soldier's Tale," featuring Gábor Tarkevi (trumpet), Christophard Gessling (trombone), and other world-class musicians. The narrator will be Dominique Horvitz, a renowned French actor who has won the Golden Lion, the highest award at the Venice International Film Festival. Violinist Kolya Bracher, whose father was the great postwar West German composer Boris Bracher, studied at the Juilliard School under the famous teacher Dorothy DeLay and then with Schandor Weg, and in 1993 became the youngest concertmaster ever of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
