Garbage's last album before going on hiatus, "Bleed Like Me," has been remastered and reissued. 2005's "Bleed Like Me" has been remastered and reissued in 2024. This is the last album released before the band went on hiatus and includes the UK Top 10 hit "Why Do You Love Me". The album has been remastered and is now available in three formats: the 2CD is a selection of B-side songs, remixes, and demos on the second disc. The analog version will consist of two product configurations: a silver single LP containing only the remastered tracks, and an expanded edition of a 2LP set containing 10 B-sides/additional tracks on LP2. And out of chaos, music was born.The band was formed in 1994 in New York by three producers, including Butch Vig (one of the most important producers in the U.S. alternative scene, producing Nirvana's "Nevermind", Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream", etc.), a world-renowned producer, and Shirley Manson, a talented vocalist from the U.K. The band debuted with the album "G" in 1995, In 1995, the band debuted with the album "G," which remained on the Billboard charts for over a year and eventually sold over 5 million copies worldwide. In May 1998, they released their second album "Version 2.0". The direction of the first "G" album, which had a strong grunge feel with its noisy guitars and dark lyrics, was greatly evolved, and a more diverse and detailed collection of sounds was completed. Version 2.0" has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide, surpassing the sales of "G" even more. Like its predecessor, "Version 2.0" has toured internationally, including an appearance at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan in August 1998.Then, in September 2001, the band released its third album, "Beautiful Garbage" (Japanese version only, including the theme song from "The World Is Not Enough"). It became a monumental masterpiece album, with all four members satisfied with every song on the album. Six months later, in February 2002, the band played solo shows in Tokyo and Osaka for the first time in many years. In August 2003, the band began recording their long-awaited fourth album. During the recording process, the band was pushed to the brink of dissolution due to illness, surgery, and creative disagreements among the band members, but finally completed their fourth album "Bleed Like Me" in April 2005. The band then embarked on a world tour, but announced a hiatus after a performance in Australia at the end of September, and cancelled their scheduled October performances in France, Belgium, and the UK.
