Cristiano Varisco, a guitarist from Porto Alegre, Brazil who started his musical career in the mid 90's, and who plays all styles of music, starting from progressive rock, has released his debut solo album in '13 from OOB, Netherlands in '24. CD reissue! The album combines instrumental and art,This work was born out of an onstage collaboration with visual artist Aline Reis.Recorded by a band featuring a bassist, drummer, and occasional guest musicians, the album is an omnibus of short instrumental pieces that range from psychedelic to blues/folk, and are all one-shot ideas,The jazz-funk number "Saida De Emergencia," with its angular organ that tightens the ensemble, and "Rosa Cromatica," a Latin jazz tune with scratchy sounds and freaky excitement, are among the tracks that showcase the band's originality and avant-garde sense of experimentation in their seemingly catchy melody lines. The originality can be felt in the avant-garde sense and experimental arrangements.It is a pleasant/amusing work that is full of fun, and its lack of grasp of the world conversely enhances the charm of this work!
