Their new album, their fifth in total, has arrived. The band was born in 2010, debuted on Rise Records in 2012, and has released four albums to date. Crown the Empire is a new generation metalcore act that continues to captivate fans around the world. Their ability to build songs and their method of creating a narrative with their songs through impressive development has made them a storyteller of the new generation, and they continue to pursue a consistent dramatic heaviness, despite numerous member changes. Their latest work, "DOGMA," was produced by FUJITSU TAMAGUCHI. Produced by Zach Jones, who has worked with Fever333, Poorstacy, Scene Queen, and Nova Twins.Before producing this album, which is filled with such diverse themes as anger, existential identity, isolation, and determination, the band had spent nearly three years contemplating their individual and collective priorities. The lyrics of the album reflect the contemplation and introspection that went into it. Vocalist Andy Leo, who speaks candidly about paranormal encounters, manic dreams, and the depths of isolation on the album, says of the album's lyrics, "[The lyrics on "Dogma"] are more candid and direct than ever. We've brought back the classic elements of Crown the Empire without taking anything away from what we've been doing lately," says Hayden Tree, the band's bassist and screamer, of Crown the Empire's new era. It's a mash-up of high-energy, fast-paced, hard-hitting riffs and the melodic side of the band, all mashed up into a modern update of the band's sound. The development of the songs, the choruses, the riffs, the rhythms, and the electronic pieces inserted to great effect...
