CASSIA, an indie pop-rock trio from Macclesfield, England, has been captivating fans with their euphoric, bright melodies and deeply introspective lyrical worlds. Their second album "WHY YOU LACKING ENERGY? Analog copies will be released at the same time! CASSIA is an indie pop-rock trio from Macclesfield in northern England that combines the indie pop sensibilities of The Falls and Vampire Weekend with jazzy Afro beats influenced by the likes of Fela Kuti and Evo Taylor, as well as American folk music by Paul Simon and others. They have created their own positive indie rock sound that reflects the American folk music of Paul Simon and others. They will release their new album "WHY YOU LACKING ENERGY?", their first album in three years since 2019's "REPLICA".From rich and majestic piano ballads to pop anthems driven by vivid synthesizers, the new album, produced by CASSIA herself, creates a new tension by infusing ephemeral songs about trying to live in the present moment with the trapped past and anxiety about the future. The first single from this album, "Motions," with its euphoric, bright melody and deeply introspective lyrical world, is an introspective depiction of the passing of time. The song depicts "the relief of not feeling alone in this first life crisis," as the band members feel that they are wasting their time and not using it effectively. Also included on the album is "Right There," a lo-fi pop number that was originally written as a slow piano ballad and released last April. CASSIA had been on tour after tour before the pandemic, and now that the new album is completed, the band will actively resume touring in the UK and appearing at festivals this year.With introspective lyrics and a sparkling, dazzling indie pop sound, they spread positivity and vibes around the world.
