A masterpiece for all UK Rock fans! Miles Kane, frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets with Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys, is an artist who embodies 2000's UK Rock. He is also building his career as a solo artist, and has completed his fourth solo studio album, following 2018's "COUP DE GRACE". His latest album, "CHANGE THE SHOW," was produced during a time when the entire UK was on lockdown due to a pandemic caused by the spread of a new coronavirus. This album came out of a period of self-reflection," he said. I had a lot of unexpected time," he says of the album. I wrote songs about highs and lows, daydreams, true friends, and deep thoughts. I learned to stay true to myself and be prepared for the future to come naturally. I think that led to what I feel is an uplifting album." The album was inspired by an unpretentious session Miles had with UK psychedelic rock duo Sunglasses For Jaws at their studio in Hackney, London. The resulting CHANGE THE SHOW includes a duet number with Corinne Bailey Leigh, "Nothing's Ever Gonna Be Enough," which seems surprising.And "Don't Let It Get You Down," the first single from the album, is an energetic and chic UK rock song in the Miles Kane style, incorporating samples from fellow Wirral legend, comedian/actor Paul O'Grady. The song is a great example of Miles Kane's unique style. The long-awaited new album, "CHANGE THE SHOW," is sure to be the album that all Miles Kane fans, from veterans to newcomers, have been waiting for. The album, which could be called Miles Kane in any direction, continues in the vein of his past work, incorporating the classic rock and glam rock influences that Miles has received, while also leaning deeply into Motown, soul, and the R&B sounds of the 1950s. Like Miles, this album is full of charming authenticity and is a timeless and universally appealing album that sets itself apart from today's trendy pop music and should be recommended to all lovers of UK rock.
