To commemorate the 50th anniversary year of their debut, a tour that could be called a celebration of the finest British progressive music was held in 2019, featuring a distinguished lineup including Asia, John Lodge, and Carl Palmers ELP Legacy. The ROYAL AFFAIR TOUR - LIVE IN LAS VEGAS", a live album of this amazing tour titled "ROYAL AFFAIR TOUR", is now available! Jesus' concert tours are, without exception, special events for their fans.Yes, who throughout their 50+ year career have been active in touring their amazing work and their worldviews in stunning live performances, and more recently in fully recreating their classic albums live, will celebrate the very best of British progressive music with guests from Asia (YES keyboardist Jeff Downes and guitarist Steve Howe will also make special appearances on the set), John Lodge of the Moody Blues, and Carl Palmer, featuring Arthur Brown. The tour featured a spectacular lineup of guests including Asia (YES keyboardist Jeff Downes and guitarist Steve Howe also made special appearances on the set), John Lodge of the Moody Blues, and Carl Palmers ELP Legacy, featuring Arthur Brown. That is what this "ROYAL AFFAIR TOUR" is all about. This work will be released in two forms: a CD in digi-sleeve format with a 12-page booklet and a 2-CD analog set in gatefold package with a 12-inch size booklet. The tour featured Jesus performing a number of classic tracks from the 1970s and 1980s.The setlist opened with Richie Havens' cover of "No Opportunity Necessary No Experience Needed" from his second album "Time and a World" released in 1970. The show continued with "Tempus Fugit" from the 1980 album "Drama", in which Jeff Downes played as a member of Yes for the first time, and "Going For The One", "I've Seen All Good People" and "Siberian Khatru" from the classic albums of Yes in the mid-70's. The audience was treated to the music of "No Opportunity Necessary No Experience Needed" by Richie Havens from "Drama". and "Siberian Khatru" from the iconic Jesus masterpieces of the mid-70s. Of special note were rare covers by Jesus, such as Paul Simon's "America" and John Lennon's "Imagine" with John Lodge on guest vocals. (1/2)
