The vocal music is performed by the Ensemble Poliharmonique, a group of eight singers with an established reputation for ancient choral music, and the instrumental music is performed by the Thuringian Bach Collegium, based in Thuringia, where Bach spent 30 years, performing mainly works by J.S.
