Both studied piano duo at Innsbruck Conservatory and have won many prizes in European competitions. This time, they challenged to play two pieces for four hands and two pieces for two pianos. The concerto for two harpsichords in C minor by Bach was arranged for two pianos by Vincent Neppe, who also plays the piece.This is a double arrangement of the masterpiece "Concerto for Two Violins BWV1043" reworked by Bach himself for two harpsichords and orchestra, but as expected of Bach, the music is not affected and sounds like the original two-piano work. The crisp touch of the duo nape is exhilarating. The skill with which they made Reger's work sound clean and charming was astonishing, and Rachmaninoff's Suite No. 2, one of the greatest two-piano works of all time, was performed with youthful vigor. The first piece, with its thick chords, is a delight to listen to, and the roaring piano sound shows off the recording skills of auditee owner Beckenhoff. This is a piano duo to watch out for.
