The complete first release! Lucerne Festival Series No. 9 is a historical masterpiece from Krecki 1946! The Lucerne Festival Series, the first master release on the acclaimed Audite label. The ninth release in the Lucerne Festival Series, the first master release on the acclaimed Audite label, features the complete premiere of Pawel Krecki's Brahms Symphony No. 4, Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, and Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 3, which appeared in September 1946. He was born in Poland in 1900 and became one of the most famous conductors of the 20th century. He first showed his talent on the violin and piano, but in the 1920s, while studying in Berlin, he established himself as a musician by conducting and composing. During his time in Berlin, he met Furtwängler, who influenced him as a performer. However, with the rise of the Nazis, he left Germany and entered Italy, but was pursued by the Fascist regime and fled to the Soviet Union, finally settling here in Switzerland.Krecki, who lived through this turbulent period, gave a moving performance at the Lucerne Festival in 1946. Krecki's music, which is a legitimate interpretation with a brilliant sound, was established in this period. This is the oldest historical recording that audite has ever reissued, and audite's owner, Lutger Beckenhoff, has done a wonderful job in bringing Krecki's brilliant performance back to life.
