The earliest recording is by Helga Weber and her ensemble from 1980 and is probably the first recording of Hildegard von Bingen's works. The Augsburg Old Music Ensemble is well known as an ensemble that performs medieval music, and its member, Sabine Lutzenberger, is arguably one of the singers who performs Bingen's works most often.In 2012, Lutzenberger recorded Bingen's works with his own ensemble, Per-Sonat.
