The '79 album from Germany's Brain, a German Rock band still active with Mani Neumeier (drs) at the helm more than half a century after their debut, has been newly remastered and reissued on CD in '25 by Germany's Repertoire! The album features Roland Schaeffer(g/sax) and Ingo Bischof(key) who supported the jazz funk period in the late 70's, Gerald Luciano Hartwig(b) from KARTHAGO, Butze Fischer(drs/perc) from MISSUS BEASTLY/EMBRYO, and Roland Schaeffer(g/sax) and Ingo Bischof(key) who played in the jazz funk era. The band's sound is a jazz-rock lineup with a touch of funk that has been woven in since "Tango Fango" (1976), with a touch of new wave/post-punk/disco thrown in. The band's sophisticated crossover sound and music, which is similar to that of KRAAN and other bands of the same period, while utilizing the traditional sense of jokes, is a pleasant and lighthearted work that is typical of this band!
