Pianist Yumeto Suenaga was born in France to Japanese parents! Beethoven's late piano works (Diabelli Variations, Sonata No. 32, and other large works + many smaller works without work numbers), plus a modern Beethoven homage written by Isabelle Frès! Imported with Japanese commentary! Born in France to Japanese artist parents, young pianist Yumeto Suenaga, in his 30s, takes us on an inventive journey into the musical world of Beethoven's last years. The program consists of a combination of large works and small pieces. The large works include the Diabelli Variations and the last piano sonata, op. 111, while the smaller pieces are sometimes very short sketches. What unfolds here is unmistakably an ongoing contemplation. Yumeto Suenaga will also perform two works by French composer Isabelle Frès. The first is the work "111. This piece is one of the "Three Dialogues with Beethoven's Works" and is a tribute to Sonata No. 32. The other is "Three Mockeries on the Diavelli Waltz," a most original experiment. Tokyo M-Plus
