The French harpsichordist Philippe Grisvert, a core member of the Ensemble Diderot and accompanist of Johannes Plamzoller, presents a new recording of keyboard works by Alessandro Scarlatti (father of Domenico Scarlatti), the great composer from Sicily who laid the foundation for the Neapolitan school, as well as the world premiere recording of the mostly unknown A. Scarlatti chamber cantatas. The program features the chamber cantatas (Cantata da Camera) of A. Scarlatti, most of which have never been recorded before in the world.
