This album unravels the relationship between Mr. and Mrs. Schumann and Brahms, including "Three Romances" dedicated by Clara to Brahms, the final interlude of "Six Pieces Op.118" dedicated by Brahms to Clara, and Piano Sonata No. 3, the last work Brahms sent to Schumann for his opinion. A great listening experience. The fact that Schumann plays Clara's arrangement for piano, rather than Liszt's, of the song "Dedication," which he dedicated to her the day before his wedding to Clara, also shows his commitment.
