Formed by bassist/composer Bob Blow and lyricist/multi-brass player Gerard Pisani, who both played in Johnny Arridi's backing band, the band started out as one of the first French psychedelic/progressive bands in 1969, but turned pop in the mid-70s, and later changed to disco and new wave. The band is a proud French band that has continued to change, taking advantage of trends such as disco and new wave. The album includes "TOUT TREMBLANT DE FIEVRE", a progressive masterpiece from 1969 that predicted the coming 70's, "FACON DE PARLER", a jazz rock song reminiscent of SOFT MACHINE, "LES INDIENS DU DERNIER MATIN", a hard-hitting pop song, and "MON PREMIER HOLD-UP", a pop song with a swinging pop attitude. The hard-hitting "LES INDIENS DU DERNIER MATIN" and the pop-oriented "MON PREMIER HOLD-UP", The FRANCOIS K-edited floor classic "DISCO CIRCUS" has been played by many DJs including LARRY LEVAN and RON HARDY, "J'T'AI VU DANS LE CANOE" is a stylish cold funk, and "POURQUQUIER HOLD-UP" is a breath of fresh air from the 80's.
