From the New World" for organ solo! The virtuoso organist Voshe performs on a historic instrument from Lausanne! The arrangement is by organ virtuoso Zygmunt Szatmary (1939-). This arrangement is known from Satmarie's own recording (BIS / BIS-1168), but in this album, Jean-François Vaucher plays the organ on the historic instrument (built by Valker and restored by Kuhn) in the church of Saint-François in Lausanne. The coupling is a recording of Liszt's "God's Blessing in Solitude," the third piece from Liszt's "Poetic and Religious Musings," S173, arranged by Voshe.
