In his previous concerto, HAF 8905292, de Swarte gave a masterful performance with Christie (harpsichord) in a program focusing on Leclerc and Snaier. This time, the program focuses on Vivaldi, the "father of the violin concerto," and his contemporaries Leclerc and Locatelli. Each was an outstanding player, and their works require considerable skill. Swarte's sound has a magical charm that one cannot forget once one hears it, and his breathtaking ensemble with "Les Sombres" is also a treat to hear. Théotime Langlois de Swarte (violin), whose repertoire ranges from the 17th century to the present, but he continues to explore works from the first half of the 18th century in particular. He began playing the violin at the age of 4 and discovered baroque violin at the age of 9. She studied at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris with Duvivier Erli and Igor Volusine, and in 2014 she entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where she also studied chamber music.
