Emmanuelle Bertrand, cellist of the Bach France, sings with a full voice of joy and gratitude for the music that overflows from her. It has long been a dream of hers to record Bach's unaccompanied suites, and now that she has found a wonderful instrument, her dream has come true. The sound of the Carlo Tononi is deep and rich, taking in all of Bertrand's overflowing joy and appreciation of the music and making it sound richer. Using gut strings and a baroque bow, he sings Bach's unaccompanied works, which are brilliant in the history of Western music, in high spirits. ＜Emmanuel Bertrand (cello) was born in Fermini in the Loine region of France in 1973. He studied under Jean Depras (1944-2015) and Philippe Murrer (1946-), and was inspired by Henri Dutilleux, one of the most important French composers from the late 20th century to the present. In 2002, he was awarded the French Classical Music Prize and the French Order of Arts and Letters.In 2005, he founded "Block 15" with pianist Pascal Amoyale and actor/director Jean Piato, with whom he has been performing. His recordings include Harmonium Handi cello works by Alkan and Liszt (HMA-1951758), 20th century solo cello works (HMG-508466), Shostakovich cello works (HMC-902142), Chopin cello works (HMC-902199), Dutilleux and Debussy cello works (HMC-902209), and Saint-Saens: Cello Works (HMM902210/KKC.5769), including the world premiere recording of his last cello sonata No. 3. All have received high acclaim. King International Inc.
