The second installment in the timeless project of reworking and remixing the work of one of the greatest composers of all time, Fragments invites some of today's most innovative artists to join in an album project celebrating the music of the past and present. Following the highly successful first installment, which focused on French composer Erik Satie, the second installment, "Fragments II," features a selection of French women composers who, in their short 26 years of life, were strongly influenced by people, society, and art, and whose work has influenced the art scene of artists and musicians since then. Lili Boulanger was a French female composer who, despite her short life (26 years old), was strongly influenced by people, society, and art. Lili Boulanger was a child prodigy from the age of two, excelling on piano, violin, cello, and harp. Her older sister is Nadia Boulanger, a renowned composer, conductor, pianist, and educator. For this album, we wanted to focus not on one woman who composes, but on one composer who is a woman, and we wanted to show the world what role her work can play in the contemporary environment. The result is a unique sound world characterized by each artist's unique journey of musical experience as a whole as well as individually, where their respect for Lili Boulanger is expressed and the past is replaced by their own current sound environment.Once again, electronic artists have enthusiastically accepted this new request, including Nicholas Paschberg, Fejka, Rodriguez Jr. and Anya Schneider, who have performed wonderful remixes and reworkings. between February and September 2024, each month the latest tracks will be released digitally and compiled into Fragments II-Lili Boulanger.
