Limited Random Mix Color Vinyl The missing link between the hardcore classic ANTI SYSTEM recordings from the 80's and the revived "AT WHAT PRICE IS FREEDOM" 12" released in 2017, the band MINDFIELD's 1994-95 Recordings will be made public for the first time! Mark Teale, Phil Dean, and Mick Teale, the 3/5 members of the band that recorded the classic ANTI SYSTEM album "No Laughing Matter" in the mid 90's, are now joined by Paul Stone, who was with NAILBOMB UK for a while. The four members of the band, Mark Teale, Phil Dean, Mick Teale, and Paul Stone, who had been with NAILBOMB UK for a while, were trying to create something new. The result was MINDFIELD, a fusion of their influences Discharge, Antisect, Slayer, New York City hardcore, Ministry, and LARD, with a new and intense sound.At the time, the band received offers from several labels and was loved by Ian Glasper, a leading figure in the UK punk scene, who interviewed them, and they were doing well. However, due to circumstances, the wheels fell off and the release of the album did not happen after all... The songs are the only ones recorded by ANTI SYSTEM members during the two periods that existed between the breakup and revival of ANTI SYSTEM, and are the first three original demo recordings of the aggressive and speedy metallic thrash sound that led to ANTI SYSTEM's revival 12". The three original demo recordings are now being officially released for the first time. Of course, all of the recordings have been newly restored, remastered, and released with a clearer sound.
