Up in the Crib" is the first mix CD by DJ Rikimaru, a young DJ based in Kobe, Japan! A Vinyl Only style selection of early 90s-00s East Coast Hip Hop! DJ Rikimaru Born in Kagoshima, Japan in 2001. Moved to Kobe at the age of 18 and started collecting records and DJ equipment at the age of 20. He went to New York for work and was involved in the manufacturing of new Subway cars. During that time, he was exposed to the atmosphere of New York and Hip Hop, and after returning to Japan, he became a full-fledged DJ. At the age of 21, he made his debut as a DJ at Halftime and performed at the 1st Anniversary. He has been steadily gaining experience, and his style of sticking to Vinyl Only has made him stand out as a young DJ in the Kobe area. In 2025, he will release his first mix CD "UP IN THE CRIB" from Halftime Works, which mainly features East Cost Hip Hop from the 90s and early 00s. (From the manufacturer's information)
