Description:
The king of minimal techno, Ricardo Villalobos released the cult classic Heike on Lo-Fi Stereo in Germany in 1998, and now it has been remastered and reissued! The red label version of the album was reissued in 2006 with two tracks selected from the original, but this version was already out of print, so this is the first reissue in 18 years. This is a groovy hypnotic funk with a hard techno edge of the late 90's, while using the minimalist 4-dimensional killing technique with even kicks typical of Villalobos! The coupling Mood Mix is over 13 minutes of percussive, percussive house manner that later led to PLayhouse sources such as Alcachofa, and the repetitive swell and haunting nature of this minimal track is irresistible!
