The new 2 Headed Deer label is based on the theme of library music. New Library Sound is a project of German music producer Chris Stulenberg. Chris studied media technology and has been creating audio and visual art in his studio in Cologne since 2000. The project aims to create fictional soundtracks reminiscent of the pioneering period of electronic music and the sounds of production music from the late 60s and early 70s, characterized by their retro-futuristic sound. This one is about ocean exploration, diving, and many other underwater adventures, including Jacques Cousteau's feature film "The Silent World & World Without Sun", "The Adventures of Tintin", Wes Anderson's Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, the soundtrack Inner Space by Sven Liebek, the electronic masterpiece Underwater VOL. 1 by Norman Candler under the name Walt Lockman, and exotica master Les Baxter's Baxter's "Jewels Of The Sea" and other water-themed albums. The influences of Sven Liebek, Piero Umiliani, Henry Mancini, Esquivel, Jean-Jacques Perry, Air, Kraftwerk, etc., are all present, as well as a heavy use of analog modular synths, but also organic instruments (keyboards, mallets, chimes, The album is characterized by a modern approach that combines analog modular synths with organic instruments (keyboards, mallets, chimes, various percussions, etc.), and even sampling.Minimoog, KORG MS20, KORG Wavestation, EMS Synthi A, Solina Stringensemble, E-Piano, Vibraphone, Sampling, Convolution Reverb, SFX, and so many more instruments to create a kaleidoscope of I just want to be intoxicated by the sound.
