ALTZ, Ramza, CALPISS & DJ Moras, DJ snuc, and others participate in this first 12" remix work by YUIMA ENYA, the lead singer of SUPER CATS. YUIMA's first 12-inch remix work "MALAKA REMIXES," which specializes in sublimating jazz and world music into modern beats, will be released on September 12. Four of Japan's best beatmakers/DJs, ALTZ, Ramza, CALPISS & DJ Moras, and DJ snuc, boldly reworked the title track "MALAKA" from YUIMA ENYA's first album to create an extremely rare disc that lets you enjoy the cutting edge of the club music scene! YUIMA ENYA, who majored in jazz vocal in New York, is a singer and composer with a unique sensitivity and wide range of expression, absorbing various expressions and music such as jazz, soul, gospel, R&B, avant-garde, and alternative. On May 23 of this year, "Dwarfish Waidai," an electrifying collaboration with J.A.K.A.M. as JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHY, was released digitally in 185 countries around the world. This is the first 12" by diva YUIMA ENYA, who specializes in sublimating jazz and world music into modern beats, is the lead singer of the modern funk band SUPER CATS, and a member of the Afro-soul jazz band Thiiird Place. The title track "MALAKA" from her first album "MALAKA" released in 2022 (June 30, 2022 from RAWMEN RECORDS) was composed by ALTZ, based in Osaka and popular at numerous outdoor raves and DJ parties nationwide, Nagoya-based and one of Japan's leading beatmakers and music The title track "MALAKA" was produced by Osaka-based Ramza, one of Japan's leading beatmakers and music producers, Nagoya-based DJ CALPISS, the most trusted DJ on the floor in Tokyo, and New York-based? DJ Moras, DJ snuc, and the mysterious track maker DJ Moras. Side A includes ALTZ Remix with thick bass line, tribal feel and Balearic feel which can be called as ALTZ's verse, and Ramza Remix with ambient electronica sound which is soothing and pleasant. Side B includes a CALPISS & DJ Moras Remix, which gives a feeling of acid techno and dubstep, and a DJ snuc Remix by DJ snuc, who is also known for his work with RHYDA & snuc, with a euphoric Latin beat/house sound. A very rare disc to enjoy the cutting edge of the club music scene!
