The band has been delighting listeners with their "GREENWOOD style" covers, and this time they are releasing two of CITY POP's most popular songs, Mariya Takeuchi's "PLASTIC LOVE" and "YOUR EYES"! Although the song has been covered by numerous artists around the world, "PLASTIC LOVE" is still one of the songs that I like to listen to whenever a new cover is announced. The arrangement of the intro and the guitar solo in the interlude show respect for the original song. And "YOUR EYES" is included on the B-side. The original song is sung from the beginning without an introduction, but this cover includes an a cappella multi-recording of the introduction. If you are thinking, "The original song has multiple recordings, too? If you are a fan of Tatsuro Yamashita's great album "FOR YOU," you may have been listening to this song without realizing it.
