Manabu Oishi's new horizon. A powerful piano melody that expresses the feelings you want to convey in a straightforward manner. A gift filled with passionate feelings, I want you to receive it too. It is never safe to repeat a successful pattern. On the contrary, I believe it is risky. Nevertheless, the reason I decided to produce the work again with the same members and in the same location as the previous work "WISH" was because I had a bit of a mischievous spirit. I wanted to see if the same cards could be used to create a work that would surpass the previous one in energy. The answer was immediate. Everyone was already prepared. First, Mr. Oishi. He had changed his touch from pressing down on the keyboard with his fingers on the top of the keyboard to pressing his fingers in with a lowered chair height. As a result, the attractive tone of the fatuori was given more thickness and core. The bass recording booth on the upper floor was specially set up so that Oishi and I could make eye contact, a position that made DUO's recording possible. He also set up a Neumann microphone facing the piano for me, who is very picky about sound.When "WISH" was recorded, everything was done in one take, but this time it was different. All the performers actively came up with ideas and took many takes. Each time, Mr. Viret and Mr. Gobey showed us a different approach. I was impressed and at the same time, I had the pleasure of being at the site where they were striving for a higher level of work. I couldn't help but smile when the engineer said, "His piano sound is completely different from what it used to be. We hope you will receive this gift of Mr. Oishi's passionate thoughts and feelings.
