Sawano Kobo has many attractive jazz vocal works, but one of the best is this work by Marielle Korman, supported by the famous Dutch pianist Jos van Beest in a trio. The entire album is a slow and relaxing experience, and the more one listens to it, the more romantic its flavor becomes. The album also features a variety of Portuguese and French songs, which adds to the variety of the album. The fifth track, "Gentle Rain," in particular, is a true highlight of the album, and the lighthearted sixth track, "The Song Is You," is followed by the French-language seventh track, "Que reste il de nos amours," and the deeply romantic eighth track, "You Don't Know," is a perfect example of the album's appeal.
